Nekoronomicon

Nekoronomicon is a 2D lewd action game that I played through recently and I thought that it was a pretty damn good time. This is a pretty extreme game as far as the visuals go, but if you dig the whole cute chick getting banged by gross monsters thing, I am pretty sure that you will have a lot of fun here. The game is a little on the short side, but overall, I felt that worked to the game's strength as I never once found myself getting bored or thinking that it overstayed its welcome.

Getting Back What Is Hers

If you are like me, you may have thought that Nekoronomicon was going to be some kind of lewd version of the game, Evil Dead: Hail to the King; however, that is not the case. The story of this game is that our main character is a woman called Lulier, and she is a cute cat girl who has the ability to use magic. The magical book (the titular Nekoronomicon) has been stolen by an evil cloaked figure, and now Lulier must be brave and make her way through a dungeon all the way to its lowest and most depraved floor to get the book back!

From The Top To The Bottom

The core gameplay of Nekoronomicon is pretty fun. Lulier is nice and easy to control, and the idea of the game is that we start at the top of this dungeon and then we are tasked with making our way to the bottom floor. There are various enemies that we meet along the way, and as we are a magic user, we need to use our magical powers to get rid of them. This is one of those games where when an enemy catches you, you will be raped and that is where most of the XXX content in the game comes from. There is not a great deal to the gameplay, and you can easily beat the game in one sitting, but that is a positive, as by the time I reached the end, I did feel that if it went on any longer, it may have started to become a bit repetitive.

A Twist To This Magic Spell!

One way that Nekoronomicon does put a unique twist on the 2D action game formula is in the form of your attacks. Lulier can shoot two different types of magical spells, one is fire and one is ice, and different enemies will need to be blasted with a certain attack. This does keep you on your toes and adds a little bit of variety to the combat. Also, you can charge your attack if you want, dealing more damage, but it does leave you vulnerable. Another neat thing was that while the enemies grabbing you and banging you may sound like a negative, you can turn their sperm into magic that you can then use against them!

It Was The Cute Cat Ears, Wasn’t It?

I love the design of Lulier, and she is 100 percent the star of Nekoronomicon. I am a real sucker for a cute cat girl and she is very easy on the eyes. I also got a kick out of the way her boobs would bounce and that she would lose clothes as she went about her adventure. Rather than go for a pixel art look, we have a very slick and smooth anime looking game here. The XXX content is very, very hardcore and it is mostly gross looking creatures having their way with her. While I can appreciate how well done this is, and the animation is nice and smooth, this was not something that was a turn on for me, but if you dig this kind of thing, I am sure you will be very happy with how well done it is here.

Pros:

• Lulier was a really fun character to play as
• I loved how clear and smooth the visuals were
• The 2D gameplay was simple, but also pretty fun
• You can easily play through the game in one sitting

Cons:

• Some of the XXX content was pretty gross to me
• I am not sure this is the kind of game you would play through more than once
