Murmur

Murmur is a solid lewd game that I have been keeping an eye on for a while now. Just recently the game got a pretty solid update that added a fair bit to the game. I rolled up my sleeves and spent some real quality time with the game over the weekend and I think that with each update I have come back for it shows more and more promise. It is a kind of “thinking” persons lewd game where it moves at a slower pace and really makes you keep a close eye on the story and characters.

The Love/Lust Cycle!

The story of Murmur is a real highlight for me, but if I am being honest, I can see at the same time why some folks may not be as into it as I was. We play a young man that finds himself in a rather interesting land, a land that is full of these very attractive ladies who all seem to have an interest in him! You get to play his story with each girl and decide if you are going to fall in love with them or basically use them just for sex. There are different routes in the game so there are different story paths that you can experience.

Taking Its Time

This subtitle here could actually relate to Murmur in two ways. First of all in how it handles its storytelling. The developer here is really taking their time, the writing is well done and you feel like you really have to pay attention to each character to know what makes them tick. It can take a while to get to the lewd stuff, but this is one game where I liked having to work for it as it felt more like a reward. I also wrote, “taking its time” because the update cycle for this game is very, very slow!

It Is All Bout The Girls!

Visually, Murmur is an absolutely gorgeous looking game. You have a great selection of ladies that you will get to interact with as you progress through the game and each one has a very interesting look. I get the impression that the developer was inspired by anime girls, but the game never goes full anime if you get what I am saying. The different locations, the UI, and just the whole game in general, all have a very high-quality look about them that does help pull you into this world.

Makin You Work For It!

The lewd content in Murmur is fantastic! I know that making you work for it is not going to be something that appeals to everyone, but when the lewd content is as good as it is here, you feel like you are being rewarded for playing the game. The animation here is great and there are different camera angles for many of the scenes too. The game also caters to many different fetishes so no matter what you are into, you will find something that you think is hot here.

Pros:

• I liked how much variety there was in the ladies
• The game looks great, especially the lewd animated scenes
• You feel like you earn each lewd scene that you get
• I liked how the story was quite in-depth

Cons:

• Some people may find the dialogue sections too long winded
• The rate at which the updates happen is on the slow side
