Mortal Kombat Hentai Edition

I was really excited when I came across Mortal Kombat Hentai Edition, as I am a massive fan of the franchise. I was even more excited when I found out that, as well as MK, this mixes characters from other franchises that I love too! This is a lewd beat-em-up, and while the version I am talking about here is very, very early in development. This is a game that is showing an absolute ton of potential, and I am very excited to see how this progresses through development.

Test Your Multi-Franchise Might!

While this is called Mortal Kombat Hentai Edition, the main character is actually Chun-Li from the Street Fighter games series. There is a new Mortal Kombat tournament and Chun-Li, along with some friends, including the gorgeous Mai from the King of Fighters games, Nastume from Ninja Masters, and there is even a male character in, Takuma, who is from the Art of Fighting games. This is a great line-up of characters, and I think that it is neat that they have a male character too, as that means you get both straight and gay content with this game.

It Has Begun!

The twist of Mortal Kombat Hentai Edition is that, unlike the other Mortal Kombat games, if you lose in this game, you do not get hit with a fatality; you get hit with a “f**kality” as you are banged. What is awesome about this is that while there are Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Melina (who is a futa in this game), you also have other characters too. These are horror themed characters, which is awesome, as the Mortal Kombat series, since Mortal Kombat 9, has included horror characters as guests. Here we have Freddy Kruger and Samara, and from what I understand, more enemies are going to be added to the game as it moves forward.

More Of A Final Fight Than A Street Fighter

Before I started playing the game, I was pretty sure that Mortal Kombat Hentai Edition was going to be a standard one-on-one fighting game. However, that is not the case; this is actually a beat-em-up in the same style as stuff like Final Fight and Streets of Rage 2. In the early state that I played the game, it is a very simple beat-em-up, you just have one attack, really, and you also have a struggle mechanic when an enemy gets a hold of you. You either bang the enemy, or they bang you. I liked how the different enemies would have different attacks. For example, Sub-Zero has his typical freeze ice ball thing, and Freddy can make multiple versions of himself. There is not a lot here, but what is here works well; it just needs fleshing out more.

Bang-Ality!

If I had to do a top ten list of the video game ladies that I found the hottest, Mai, from the King of Fighters and the Fatal Fury games, would be close to the top of that list. Let me tell you, Mortal Kombat Hentai Edition does not disappoint when it comes to sexing up these already very sexualized characters! The sprites look great, although I am pretty sure they are borrowed from other games, they still look and move great. I thought having characters like Melina and Samara be futas was an interesting design choice. The XXX action is a lot of fun and there is a good mixture of your chosen character getting banged and the one taking the lead. I got a kick out of the references to various other games. I am sure there are even characters from the game, Pit-Fighter, here, which I thought was a lot of fun.

Pros:

• I liked how they mixed characters from different franchises
• The XXX content was a lot of fun and very well done
• They have something here, and if they can build upon it, this could be great!
• Mai is such a babe!

Cons:

• As of writing, there is not much content in the game
• Some of the hit detection is a little off right now
