Lustful Victor

While I would certainly say that Lustful Victor is a case of style over substance, I still had a fun time with this side-scrolling lewd action game. It has some really awesome lewd pixel art, and while not amazing, the cyberpunk story is a lot of fun and more than got the job done. I think if you come into this expecting something like a 7/10 kind of game, you will have a good time with it, just do not expect to come back to this time and time again.

Who Am I?

The star of our XXX cyberpunk adventure is a hot chick called, Noelle. Noelle has awakened on a space station, and she descends into the city that is called Petaputua, which is a cyberpunk city filled with AI, vice, and action. Noelle has no idea why she is here, but she knows that an evil guy by the name of Victor appears to be pulling all of the strings. To be honest, what I told you is pretty much the majority of what you get when it comes to the story in this game. It is not horrible by any means, and at the start, I found myself invested, but it never goes beyond the surface, which is a shame, as there is something cool here.

Welcome To Cyber Funky Town

The best thing that Lustful Victor has going for it is the visuals. This game has some awesome lewd pixel art that has some nice and smooth animation, and you are always seeing Noelle getting banged. I got a kick out of the bouncing balls that this dude had in one of the scenes. The city looks awesome, and while a lot of it does repeat, the cyberpunk look is something that I thought was very cool. There are only a couple of stages here, but if you do like the cyberpunk style, I am sure you will appreciate the presentation here.

Short, But Sour?

When it comes to the gameplay, what we have going on here is a side-scrolling action game. It does have some RPG style mechanics, such as leveling up. Lustful Victor is also a very short game; it says it has five levels, but by my count, there are three what I would class as “levels/stages,” which means they must be classing the gallery as some kind of stage as well. To be fair, the gameplay is ok, but it is very shallow, and you will find that the game does have some unfair stuff going on, which, if I were a conspiracy theorist, I would say is purely here to expand the length of the game.

That’s Not Fair To Flair!

No, you are not playing Royal Rumble on the SNES, but that was a classic WWF reference. The thing with this game is that it is not just hard, it feels unfairly hard in many places. For example, levelling up takes forever, but the enemies are still bullet sponges, the boss battles are a test in patience, as it feels like no matter how strong you are or how much grinding you do, your attacks never seem to do any more damage. Also, enemies come at you way too fast, you move a little bit, and BAM, one comes out of nowhere, giving you absolutely zero time to react.

Pros:

• The main character was really cool
• I enjoyed the cyberpunk city setting
• This game has some amazing lewd pixel art
• I liked how it was pretty short

Cons:

• A massive chunk of the game feels unfairly difficult
• The story is interesting, but it lacks depth
