Luna Fighter

I am a huge beat-em-up fan, and when I heard that Luna Fighter was a lewd game in this category, I was super excited to check it out! This is one of my favorite genres, and there have been some great XXX beat-em-ups over the last couple of years, and I was very hopeful that this would be another one to add to that collection. Ok, granted, this is not perfect, but it was still a fun game to blow off a little bit of steam and tension with!

To Go Where No One Has Gone Before

If you like sci-fi games, chances are, Luna Fighter is going to have a story that sounds very familiar to you. Luna is the leader of her crew, and they are setting out for the stars to try and make new discoveries. They come across a planet that seems like it may have some interesting stuff, and when they touch down, they discover that there is actually life on this planet, but the life is hostile, and they soon find that they are in a very dire situation that they were not expecting; however, things were not what they seemed.

An Intergalactic Helping Hand

Thankfully, they find that the native life is hostile for a reason, and then the real story of Luna Fighter kicks into place. You see, the native alien species were hostile, as there is another alien threat to them, and they come to some kind of agreement with Luna, her team, and the forces back home to team up and work together in order to fight this horny alien threat. The story really did grab me, and while it never truly got any deeper than the premise we got at the start of the game. It more than captured my attention and had me feeling like I was part of this force, trying to stop an evil alien race.

Just Keep Fighting

I will say that I do feel that Luna Fighter is trying to be a solid beat-em-up. It has a combo system, there is an upgrade system, and you do have a decent amount of attacks that you can use and unlock. However, you are just mostly button-mashing until an enemy falls down, and then you move onto the next one, and then you face a boss. As a beat-em-up, it is a very basic kind of game. I think it needed a bit more time in development to try and make it more challenging. The most challenging aspect of the game is that when an enemy hits you with a combo, there is no combo breaker; you just have to take it until they are done. I would not say that this is bad, but at the same time, it does have some issues. Speaking of which, some people have reported major technical issues, but the game, for me, ran ok and I never had any crashes.

A Sci-Fi Style We Can All Appreciate

I will be the first to say that the lewd content in Luna Fighter did not appeal to me, as seeing these gross and tentacle-themed aliens bang Luna was not all that hot. However, Luna herself is hot, and I loved it when some of the moves would show off that butt of hers. The game has a very sci-fi look to it, which I am a massive fan of. The most impressive thing about the game for me was the animation. Not the XXX animation, but the animation of the various moves and attacks that Luna can pull off.

Pros:

• I thought the sci-fi setting and story were cool
• Luna was a fun character
• The game has some awesome animations
• It is shallow, but it can still be a fun time

Cons:

• This is a very shallow and basic beat-em-up
• I liked the story, but would have liked a little more fleshing out
