Law School [Season 1]

I had heard nothing but good things about Law School, and that made me very excited to try it out. The game I am talking about, not actually going to law school! This is a lewd visual novel, and I have heard a lot of praise about its story and the way that the story is presented, so I came into this with very high hopes, and after playing through the entirety of the first season, I can see why so many people who have played this hold it in such high esteem.

The Big Lawman On Campus

A huge part of the reason that I wanted to check out Law School was that I had heard lots of positive stuff about the story of the game. The basics are that we are in this very prestigious law school, and we want to try and become the best damn lawyer in the world. That is not an exaggeration; the tag line is something along the lines of becoming the best lawyer the green earth has ever seen. The thing is, this is easier said than done, as our MC gets pulled in many different directions when it comes to his personal and even his professional life.

The Gang Is Certainly All Here

If you want a lewd visual novel that just gets straight to the banging, Law School is probably not for you. This is a slower-paced kind of story that likes to try and build its characters up. A great example of this is your chick best friend. However, the game does also have pretty much every college stereotype that you could imagine, ranging from the nerds to the jocks to the mean sorority hotties. However, while this is cliché as hell of a story set in a college, the writing is pretty solid, and it does not feel like it is too on the nose. The longer the game went on, the more invested in the story I became. Yet, despite me saying that, I can see why, for some, the story may be a tad on the slow side.

Lemme Think About That One

With this being a lewd visual novel, you do not get any prizes for guessing that the core gameplay of Law School is about reading the story and then making decisions. The thing here is that the decisions are quite hard to settle on! I do not mean that in a bad way, but I found myself getting pretty invested in the various relationships that our MC had with different characters, so I did not want to screw it up as I was trying to play the game as somewhat of a good dude. However, at the end of the day, I am not entirely sure how much of a difference my choices were actually making, but at the very least, the game did a good job of making me at least feel like my choices mattered.

My Kind Of Institute Of Learning

Let's face it, a college campus or a school is not exactly an original location for an adult visual novel. However, Law School is still a fantastic looking game, and in addition to the story and writing getting a great deal of praise, so do the visuals. This game goes for a very realistic-looking style. Granted, every character in the game is attractive with a nice body. Yet, they have managed to keep them looking as real as possible, so you do not have these over-the-top bodies or massive penises or breasts that take you out of the realistic nature of things. The XXX content is great as it not only looks good and is hot, due to gets so connected to the story, they feel like they matter more.

Pros:

• I liked the law school setting
• There are many interesting characters in the game
• The presentation is fantastic and very real-looking
• It was good to build up relationships with certain characters

Cons:

• The story is a slow burn, which may not suit everyone
• Perhaps a couple more XXX scenes would have been nice
