Rhythm based warfare with a tremendous sound

Take even a cursory glance at the game trailers, and it is clear that Klang 2 has managed to land the perfect vibe. Developer Tinimations are known for their excellent attention to detail when it comes to sound. And Klang 2 looks to be no different in that regard. The sounds reverb with authority, and the various musical styles means that Klang 2 should have something for everyone in the way that it plays.

While some will see a similarity to other rhythm games over the years, Klang 2 really does manage to do something different. The combination of a combat system paired with audio gives off very strong Crypt of the Necrodancer vibes. Dance your way through the games ridiculous combat systems and you can have all of the fun that you want.

On top of that, this is a game that comes with a lot of variety in the levels. While the rather dark overall theme can seem off-putting, as soon as the rhythm kicks in things soon brighten up for the better. Klang 2 definitely has one of the more interesting combat systems that we have seen in modern games, that’s for sure!

An intriguing addition to the rhythm-fighter category

There is much to enjoy about a game that forces us to not only dance to the beat, but fight to it. Early impressions of Klang 2 show a game that will force you to be pretty dynamic in how you manage the games eccentric combat system. Combining action with dance music you will be forced into tight situations where you need to move quicker and land harder hits.

If you have never played the original Klang, then you might want to just take a look at this soon to be released sequel. The developers have made clear that it will be easy to learn, hard to master, and thus should be a good choice for anyone who is new to the rhythm-action genre.
