Imouto Life Fantasy

Perhaps the best compliment I can give Imouto Life Fantasy is saying that even without the lewd content, this would be a 10/10 game for me! Granted, you have probably been brought here for the same reason I was, those gorgeous monochrome graphics that are just so beautifully done and really do capture your attention. The whole game is made incredibly well and off the top of my head, I truly cannot think of anything all that negative to say about it. Keep on reading to see why this is one of those rare games where most people who have played it, have very little bad to say about it!

The Bets Guild In The Land

The setup for the story in Imouto Life Fantasy is that we live in a fantasy land and we have always dreamed of a life of adventure, just like our dad. We along with our friends, start a guild and we aim to help our village out by taking care of any threats that may come our way. We also want to be part of the Tournament of the Eights to show that our guild is the best. While this is very much a fantasy kind of story, I feel that it also has elements of a coming of age story, think of stuff like EarthBound and The Goonies and you will get what I am talking about.

Little Sis At Home

While the guild and adventuring in Imouto Life Fantasy is awesome, there is another major part of the story here and that is your little sister. Your sister is sick at home and as your dad is not here, you are tasked with looking after her and also the house. Making sure that she is taken care of and that all the bills are paid and that there is food and so on. This is honestly a great twist to the story as on one hand, we have a young guy with a heart for adventure, but his heart is also at home due to his sister. With this being a lewd game, you can take this story with the sister in a few directions, but for me, it had to be more of a wholesome kind of thing as I felt that worked best here.

We Never Have Enough Time

I am going to give you some grade-A advice right here and that is to just embrace the experience and the story the first time you play this game. While this has combat, leveling up, gear and so on, I would say that time management is the biggest aspect of the gameplay in Imouto Life Fantasy, and making the right choices to get the most out of the limited time you have is key here. If you try and 100 percent the game on your first play through, you are really missing out. Combat is fun, leveling up happens at a decent pace. However, it is experiencing the story and the relationships that grow with these characters where this really shines. It would be like playing the original, The Walking Dead game and using a guide for your first playthrough! Play this as honestly and as naturally as you can for that first play through, trust me, you will thank me for it!

It’s A “MadWorld” Indeed!

Visually, Imouto Life Fantasy is stunning, there is no other way to describe the visuals of this game! The black and white style they have gone for is incredible and the way that the characters are designed is just so well done. They manage to give them so much personality in their eyes that you truly do feel like you are feeling what they are thinking. The fantasy world they have created has so many little details to it that you will often find yourself just gawking at a screen trying to take it all in. Yes, we do have lewd content here, but that is not the best thing about this game. Sure it is great and well appreciated, but this game honestly does not need it.
