ImoTsuyo: If it’s for my Young Sister I’ll be Stronger

The long-winded title of ImoTsuyo: If it’s for my Young Sister I’ll be Stronger caught my attention, but this ended up being one of the strangest lewd visual novels I have played in quite some time!

Wait, She Saw What???

The story of this game is freaking weird. I thought I was getting into a story about a brother, trying to help his shy sister after she pulled away when a traumatic event happened. However, there is murder afoot here and the characters all sound super weird. I was sure that there was going to be a killer at some point, as they all sound like sociopaths! The story was quite hard to follow as a result of this, and I had no idea who was good and who was not by the time I got to the end of it.

ImoTsuyo: If it’s for my Young Sister I’ll be Stronger is a rather strange lewd visual novel. Outside of the intro, I never felt like I was actually in control of anything and felt like I was just tapping the button to move the story along. The most interesting aspect of things is that the game can teach you some very basic Japanese. Ok, so this is a stretch to say this offers any kind of educational value, given the kind of Japanese that it is teaching you, but I still think that it is a neat idea, and a few things have stuck with me.

Time For Banging

As I was not super connected to the story, the sex scenes often felt like that they came out of nowhere. Hey, to be fair, the sex scenes are fun and very well done, but the characters have a very low-detailed anime look to them, which I am sure is not going to be something that clicks with everyone. Still, the quick rate at which the sex scenes are dished out as you progress through the game is very much appreciated. There is a decent amount of animation here, too, which I was very happy to see.

Pros:

• The quirky art is kind of fun
• It teaches some basic Japanese
• The story is pretty insane!

Cons:

• None of the characters were likable at all
• There is pretty much zero gameplay here
