I Wish I Had Never Gone into the Dungeon

The title for I Wish I Had Never Gone into the Dungeon was something that really grabbed my attention. This is a lewd dungeon crawler style of game with some interesting RPG-like mechanics and a completely different way to play the game if you want. They have some pretty good ideas here that make it a somewhat unique kind of lewd game and something that is honestly hard to compare to others. Of course, if the game pulls off this unique thing is subjective, but I can say that I had some fun with this one and would love to see the developer build upon what they have done here.

A Blonde And A Blue

While it is not super deep, the story of I Wish I Had Never Gone into the Dungeon was something that I thought was pretty good. You have a blonde chick and a blue-haired chick, and they live in a fantasy world. They end up going into a dungeon with a “hero,” and as you have probably already figured out, things do not exactly go smoothly, and they end up not just having to fight monsters, but dealing with all of the sexual tension and urges that are flowing through their bodies. The level of corruption that happens as the story progresses is kind of fun. Although it does sometimes kick into high gear out of nowhere.

A Certain Point Of View

When I saw the screenshots of I Wish I Had Never Gone into the Dungeon and I stopped gawking at the gorgeous characters. It was the fact that the game had an isometric dungeon crawler kind of vibe to it, think of something like the older Diablo games, that got me excited. You need to go through each area, collecting all the loot and gear that you can, and the game is very generous with this. You see, the battle system here feels like it should be fast-paced hack-and-slash style, but it just kind of happens and is very passive. It never felt like I was in full control; I was just walking from one end of the area to the next. I so, so wanted this to be more. Not that I am saying what is here is bad, but I just felt it could have been something really special.

Forget All That You Know

The strangest part of the gameplay in I Wish I Had Never Gone into the Dungeon is that you can just ditch it altogether! The game is already pretty passive, but you can actually turn off the dungeon-crawling aspect of the game and just play through it as a lewd visual novel! The visual novel elements are spliced in between the dungeon crawling if you play the game normally. However, you can just play this like a straight-up visual novel if you like. In theory, this is good, but the choices never actually feel like they matter all that much, so I would not recommend playing the game this way.

Because I Don’t Know!

Hey, that reference was fitting, as when I saw the title of I Wish I Had Never Gone into the Dungeon, it reminded me of the awesome dungeon crawler, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know! Anyway, what really drew me to this was our two gorgeous main characters. These chicks have a bit of muscle and thickness to them, and the game has some absolutely epic sex scenes that just get wilder and wilder as you progress through the game. These more than made me want to keep on playing, as getting a new sex scene actually felt like a real reward. The actual game looks decent enough, but the isometric point of view is what separates it from other lewd games, as this is quite unusual.

Pros:

• The two girls are gorgeous!
• I loved how they were thick and muscular
• The isometric dungeon crawling is a unique idea
• I found the story to be pretty interesting

Cons:

• The gameplay is very passive
• They have a good base here; it just needs fleshing out
