Players looking for intense and detailed hentai gameplay or even a sliver of replayability might be left wanting more, but it is what it is. As long as you can look past its shortcomings, this little hentai game does exactly what it sets out to do.

Hear the Good Stuff

One thing I certainly wasn’t expecting when I booted up I Wanna Fuck my Mom’s Best Friend is that the game is fully voiced. Well, at least Shiori’s voice lines are voiced (she’s your mom’s best friend, btw.) Imagine my shock when I first heard her moan! I almost died of embarassment!

While it’s not a very common feature in visual novels like this, it does add an extra layer of “quality” to the game’s presentation. It makes the game feel less like X Change and more like HuniePop. If that comparison makes sense to you, you need to touch grass a bit more.

More Than Just Sex

While the H-scenes are a significant part of the game, they are not the sole focus. The storyline provides hours of content, filled with choices that genuinely affect the outcome. This game does better than Princess Trainer in offering a narrative where your decisions lead to different endings, making each playthrough unique.

Now, don’t come in expecting Baldur’s Gate 3 levels of branching paths. As in any visual novel, you can expect different “paths” to open when you make certain decisions. It’s not groundbreaking, but it does add a bit of replayability. Or, at the very least, an excuse to see more of Shiori.

Setting the Mood

The audio design, from the background music to the sound effects, perfectly complements the game's mood. Granted, the mood is mostly that of a classic porn scenario, but still, it’s great for what it is. The music transitions are smooth, and the effects, like the subtle clink of glasses or the rustling of clothes, add realism to the scenarios.

Also worth noting is the game’s remastered presentation. For those who played the Japanese original years ago, I Wanna Fuck my Mom’s Best Friend now offers a new coat of paint that makes it look better than ever. The artwork, upscaled to HD, is vibrant and detailed, offering both 16:9 and 4:3 options to cater to different preferences.
