I loved the other games in the series and Gungrave G.O.R.E got me really excited as I thought that this series was long dead, to be honest with you. This latest version of the game is awesome in that it is offering a tremendous throwback to the older games. However, those who have never heard of this series can jump in here and just have an absolute blast with how badass this game is. I am trying to get as many eyes on this game as possible in the hopes that it can give this series a real shot in the arm.

A Tale Of Love, Vengeance, And Loyalty!

For a game that moves at 100 miles per hour and is all about being badass, Gungrave G.O.R.E is a game that has a pretty substantial story for you to play through. They have said that if you want to do everything there is to do in the game, you are looking at around 12 hours to beat the game which is ideal for a game of this style. What we know about the story is that we are playing as the Gunslinger of Resurrection (hence the Gore in the title) and you are on a quest for revenge!

Flashing, Banging, And Sliding!

By far the best thing that Gungrave G.O.R.E has going on for it is the combat. This is not the kind of game that is about trying to be careful and being cautious. This game is designed by going balls to the wall and being all about action. You have these epic gunslinging skills that you can use, but you also have these amazing martial arts style moves that you can use at close quarters. It is all about unleashing these epic combos and it is the kind of thing that is easy to pick up and master, making this a game that is something anyone can grab and have an amazing time with.

A Twist On Reality

One thing that I popped super hard for in the initial trailer was the whole design and style that Gungrave G.O.R.E has going on. It is set in South East Asia and many of the areas in the game are based on real places. However, they have given it all this futuristic and sinister kind of twist that gives the game a very unique kind of style to it. I know that some action games can struggle with getting a good balance of them looking and playing great, but that is not the case here with this one. It is one of the most stylish looking games released this year and I am sure many people who play it will agree.

I really, really do hope that Gungrave G.O.R.E manages to find its audience. I Played the hell out of this series on the PlayStation 2 and the fact that they thought to bring it back for the modern generation is honestly something that I never thought in a million years would have happened. However, it has and I could not be any more excited about this game! It is all about action and being a badass and if you want a game that is just all about fun, you have to give this game a try.
