Gal*Gun: Double Peace

Holy crap is Gal*Gun: Double Peace a weird game. I… What did I just play was what a friend of mine who played this said to me. That is the feeling the majority of people who will play this game will say. It is very much a lewd game that has a lot of style to it, but the strangest thing about this game is that it is actually a lewd on rails shooter! How crazy is that?

Being A Stud Is Not That Great

Like many other lewd Japanese games, the story here is set in a high school. Houdai is your average student at this academy and one day he gets hit by cupids’ arrow. As Gal*Gun: Double Peace is a game that is freaking crazy, rather than just making him attractive to the girl of his dreams. This arrow has made him the most attractive guy in the academy and every girl here wants a piece of him.

He needs to get through the day, repelling all the other girl's advances so that he can get with the one that he truly loves. Oh, and to make things even weirder, there is a curse that states if he does not do this he will be alone forever!

Nice Shooting Sex, I Mean Tex!

If you have ever played any on rails shooter before be it House of the Dead, Time Crisis, or even something less intense like Pokémon Snap. You will get to grips with the gameplay of Gal*Gun: Double Peace very, very quickly. The game has a story mode that is the main mode and here you go through the academy getting love letters, kisses, and more thrown your way. You need to “shoot” these and the girls to keep them at bay and make it to the one that you truly love. It is very fun, very easy to get the hang of, but it is also so fast-paced that you are always on your toes. You can choose who your love interest actually is which can change the story a tad. As well as the main story mode, you can also have fun with a score attack mode which is very addictive and will really help sharpen those skills of yours. You also have a gallery and various achievements too so there is a lot to keep you busy in this game.

100 Percent Japanese

The visuals and the sounds on offer in Gal*Gun: Double Peace could not be any more Japanese if they went out of their way to try. You know how sometimes you play a game and there is no mistake where the game was made? Well, that is the case here. From the anime-style visuals, the strange J-Pop soundtrack, and all of the voice samples, this game is as over the top Japanese as you could possibly get and I love it!

It also helps that the game looks fantastic. It has a very arcade-style to the presentation and that is something I like. There are plenty of cute girls here and lots of cheeky upskirt shorts and large boobs that are all around you too!
