I have to say that a game like Champion of Venus is made for people like us. That is right me and you, the person reading this. If you are reading this, I am certain that you are a fan of lewd games, most notably visual novels. When a game like this comes along it makes me take notice, not just because it is a visual novel with a whole lot of lewdness, it is because of the THICC character models!

Making It Rayne!

The story of the game is pretty fun. It is about a girl called Rayne and while Champion of Venus is a title that may make you think she is some kind of heroic leader. Rayne is anything but. She is a bit of a nerd, completely weird when it comes to interacting with other people and she has found herself involved with a goddess who is full of lust.

If that is not enough the story gets rather weird as Rayne ends up in a competition to see who is the best THOT in the world. How does one prove that they are the best THOT, come on! Deep down you know what the answer to that is. While the story is not yet finished, what is here is pretty fun and I am very interested to check out the other chapters as they are released

THOT Life

The gameplay on offer in Champion of Venus is that of your standard visual novel and I am fine with that. As of right now, this is a very short game, but from the looks of it, this is going to be released in chapters as the game moves along development. So far, you read the text and then make various choices along the way to move the story along in the direction that you think is right. It is solid stuff and I found it very enjoyable due to the humor that the game has. The tongue in cheek nature of the writing made me smile most of the time I was playing it.

So THICC

Don’t you just love the term THICC? Well, that is what the art style of Champion of Venus is all about. The character models in this game have a style all to their own. While other visual novel games tend to go for that anime, super slim look when it comes to the female characters. What they have done here really makes the game stand out from the other visual novel games out there.

While the game is so far very short, the lewd content here is something that I really like. I am very excited to see what more they add here as they have some fantastic looking characters.

The background art is solid as well, it does not take away from the characters in front of it, but at the same time it does not stick out like a sore thumb.

So far, so good for Champion of Venus. It is a game that still has a while to go in development, but what is here so far is a whole lot of fun. I know I have talked a lot about the fantastic character models that the game has. However, the story here is great as the writing is well done and it will make you laugh while you are playing it. If you want a visual novel that has a rather unique art style, this is a game that you need to keep a close eye on.
