Ayakashibito is a visual novel with dating simulator elements. In a time of technological advancement and total restructuring of the world, the yokai of Japan were forced to come to terms with their own lack of use in the human world. Having made a decision to mix with ordinary people, the yokai forever condemned their descendants to the status of outcasts. The protagonist, who is haunted by his hereditary yōkai blood, has become such an outcast. Having escaped from the zone allocated to half-bloods together with his girlfriend, the protagonist is going to start his life with a clean slate.
