Auto Sale Life

Auto Sale Life is a simulator giving players the opportunity to build their own empire buying and selling cars. This car sim breaks away from the average simulator by having a storyline to it—but the storyline is more likely to leave people scratching heads rather than feeling entertained.

In the story, your beloved wife Beth has died, and all you’ve wanted is her car since she’s passed. You buy it—but it’s a trick. The car was stolen. You’re betrayed by your friends and sent to jail for grand theft auto.

Graphics are so-so

Like many low-budget sims, this game’s graphics feel very low budget. Even the “cool” cars have a hotwheels like look to them, the animation of the people walking around are poorly done, and there’s very little detail. The audio isn’t much better, most of which is obviously AI and poorly done at that. These things aren’t great features, but it’s a budget sim game, so it does go with the territory.

Bugs

More concerning than the appearance and sound is the bugs. Auto Sale Life frequently crashes. If you haven’t saved your game, you’ll end up losing your progress all the way back to the last time you saved. Save early, save often, hopefully the crashing will be fixed in a later update. Another minor issue is that if you are doing the taxi mini-game and the passenger is faced away from you, you have to drive onto the sidewalk to get them to get in the car. They will not notice your car pulled up on the roadside.

Fun to Play

Despite the flaws, the game isn’t bad to play. You have to build you car empire up from nothing by buying low-end cars (which is all you can afford at first), fixing them, and selling them on. Money is so tight at the beginning of the game; you may even have to get a job outside of selling cars to pay the bills. Fortunately, the game does have part-time jobs available, such as driving a taxi or delivering pizzas. These games allow you to see the city a little better and gives you a chance to pay for repairs on the cars you purchase.

It plays a little like Car For Sale Simulator 2023. Both have skill trees to improve car sales, car repair, and improvements. Car For Sale Simulator 2023 however, has better graphics.
