Sure, A Simple Life with My Unobtrusive Sister may be weird, some might even say creepy, but I had a fun time with this lewd adventure, which is a real mixture of styles. The whole brother sister thing may throw some people off, but I found it funny more than anything else. What really drew me to the game was that the gameplay seemed like such an odd match, part dungeon crawling rogue-like game and part cooking game, all with a fantasy and incest twist wrapped around it!

The premise of the story here is kind of fun…. And also kind of creepy. In A Simple Life with My Unobtrusive Sister, we play the role of a young man who lives with his super cute sister that he adores. Well, our sister has some kind of illness, and the fact that the game is so obscure with what is actually wrong with her was kind of fun. Anyway, we are tasked with going out each day to find the ingredients to help our sister deal with her illness, but we also have a crush on our sister.

Creepy, But Kinda Funny

Hey, if you are turned off by incest storylines, I am there with you, especially when they are done in a more realistic style. With A Simple Life with My Unobtrusive Sister, that is not the case, as the game is not taking itself too seriously. Hey, at the end of the day, creeping on your sister while she is in the shower or having a fun time with her panties is creepy as hell. But, there is just something so damn weird about the way this story is told that I found myself laughing over the kind of stuff that was happening. The point I am trying to make here is that this is a game that is not meant to be taken seriously.

Go A Little Faster

The gameplay of A Simple Life with My Unobtrusive Sister is very interesting, as there is a lot I like here. The gameplay loop is pretty much always the same. You head into a random dungeon to fight enemies and get the items required to make the medicine. You then, in a cooking game style, make the medicine, and you can then tend to your sister to earn hearts that will deepen your relationship. You do this, over and over again, until you get the right color of hearts so that she will please you if you catch my drift. The gameplay here is ok, although the combat is very punishing. It is just that the progression is so damn slow, you feel like you get very little reward for the work you are doing, and it can feel like a pretty steep grind.

A Cutie For Sure

The star of the show in A Simple Life with My Unobtrusive Sister has to be the sister. I love her design, and she is very quirky and a lot of fun. The game is brought to life with some very nice-looking visuals, and there is some nice and smooth animation here. From stroking it while you are watching her, to her cooking her medicine, the animation quality here is something that greatly impressed me. Now, the lewd content here is ok, I think the main problem is that the gameplay is so stingy with the XXX rewards that the juice never feels like it is fully worth the squeeze! It is a real shame too, as the presentation is very well done, I just wish that there was more of it.
